Festival 2022 Bulletin #4

Updated: Jun 29

Hello everyone and greetings from a wintery New Zealand,

We have just landed in the first week of winter and the temperatures are dropping as the days get shorter and colder.

The world right now is a strange and crazy place and one that has lead us to stop and think about many things, not the least being the opening of the festival registration. As it stands today we have no valid reason to postpone neither the opening of the registration nor the timing of the festival itself. Everything is moving and changing so rapidly on a global basis that we will be continuing with the dates as notified. We appreciate and understand fully that many teams may be hesitant in registering and that is perfectly okay, as registration will stay open for the following ten months, by which time much will again have changed globally.

The festival fees for 2022 are in New Zealand dollars only:

NZD

Fees: NZ$580

Deposit: NZ$250

Balance: NZ$330

Those who are lucky to achieve an early bird registration will have their discounts applied to the balance owing, these discounts will be:

NZ$80

All the very best wishes, stay well and be safe,

Yours in paddling,

Meri and the NZBCS 2022 Festival team
